White River Hotel selects Maitre'D & GuestCentrix for new Hotel

The White River Hotel has recently opened to great acclaim following an extensive refurbishment by the new owners of the property.  Located in Toome, Co Derry, the hotel was formerly known as the O'Neill Arms and had been closed for some time prior to the recent investment.

The hotel has 11 stunning bedrooms which have been finished to an extremely high standard, with a choice of dining facilities in both 'Weavers Restaurant' for A La Carte and Table d'Hote menus, and the bar which offers a Grill style menu.  There is also a separate Lounge Bar, as well as 'Myst' nightclub.  The hotel has conference and banqueting facilities suitable for up to 300 delegates, and the White River Hotel is already proving to be popular for weddings.

The owners needed a company that could confidently look after both the till requirements of such a bustling environment as well as the hotel property management systems, and with the assistance of an external consultant, Hospitality IT were chosen as the EPoS supplier with their MaitreD Point of Sale system and GuestCentrix Property Management.

Hospitality I.T. have installed a total of 11 tills across the bar, dining, function and reception areas, with kitchen printing, a Maitre'D Auxiliary Back Office licence for full access to the system from another location and a Maitre'D Backup Server to ensure there is no system down-time.  Maitre'D point of sale also links to GuestCentrix PMS via the hotel interface for seamless integration.
